TUD targets the development of generic microarchitecture for FE edge accelerators, low power designs, models and simulators, as well as manufacturing of small-scale edge AI accelerators (prototypes). TUD will give value to the project outcome through two main channels: a) start-ups: TUD already created a start-up CognitiveIC to accelerate the valorisation and industrialisation of the project results, 2) technology transfer to the many industrial collaborators it works with in the field of ultra-low power hardware for edge AI, e.g., GF, IBM, IMEC, Bosch, etc.
